I.O.P. Report 2/2/2020

Went back out to isle of palms this past weekend because of my success the weekend prior. It had been kind of a cooling trend leading up to this past weekend so i think it threw the fishing of a little. We still managed to fill our limits though after a fun day on the water. We fished the high tide on the flat with same results as last time which was nothing. Once the tide shifted and was halfway out we begun to hit docks and found the fish. Using light flounder rigs we were able to catch some trash and a few reds mixed in. it was slow but the finger mullet and shrimp were the ticket to getting bites. There were lots of small black drum under the docks but we never caught one that was over the legal size. All reds were around 16 1/2 inches. All in all was a good day and i cant wait to cook them up!
