SeaStar Hydraulic Steering / Front Helm Displacement ??

I have access to a used front helm and its displacement is 1.7 cu inches. The SeaStar website says in recommends a front helm with a displacement of 1.4 cu inches.

If I installed the 1.7 Front Helm, would there be a huge difference between the two?

I have a 2002 Sea Pro cc w/ a 90hm 2 stroke outboard motor. I need to replace the steering cables and helm, and figured I could take advantage of a very cheap deal from a friend for hydraulic steering.

Don’t think using a 1.7 would be too bad. The 2.2(2.3 or 2.4 can’t remember?) size would likely be too much.
The 1.7 will cause your steering to be a little faster than the 1.4 (more motor movement per turn of the wheel).
FYI, those helms fetch a pretty penny on ebay, if you don’t like it.
