Lakes up in the northern part of the state have dumped a lot of water into the upper lake which has been dumped into the lower lake and released into the rivers. Muddy in the lakes, canals, and rivers. My suggestion is find something else to fish for this spring. By the time the water clears up the shad run will be over. But good luck to those that still want to try it out!
