Happy Mother's Day on the water!

[file ]error[/file][file ]error[/file][file ]error[/file]On the water around 7:00 and up the Ashley where we stopped just before the City Marina to catch some menhaden–they were popping all over the place. After filling the well, we stopped at our favorite spot to try and catch a few Whiting for cut bait. After a couple hours, we set out for Fort Sumpter to see if we could catch some sharks. The wife was fishing live bait and I was on cut. About an hour before high tide she landed a red that was over 36" ( a few inches longer than our fish tape measure) and I caught another a half hour later on cut whiting.

I almost lost my Red–see the hook. Both Reds were caught and successfully released.

We also caught a Blue fish and a pile of sharks.

Over all, it was the best fishing day we have ever had.
Trying to upload pics, having trouble.

Good job on the fishing and getting some action. Welcome to the forum.
