My son and I were talking and he brought up the fact that you can not wear anything that conceals your face while carrying. Never thought about it, but with all this mandatory mask stuff, wonder how the CWP carriers are going to fair? Maybe some kind of easement? Just found out my own little town of Walterboro effective July 1st will require masks. I guess if it makes someone feel good… I’ll just pay my $25.00 or do with out till this thing runs it’s course.

Anyone who is unable to safely wear a face covering due to age, an underlying health condition, or is unable to remove the face covering without the assistance of others is exempt from this ordinance.
Face coverings are not required in the following circumstances:
In personal vehicles.
When a person is alone in enclosed spaces; during outdoor physical activity, provided the active person maintains a minimum of six (6) feet from other people at all times.
When a person is alone or only with other household members.
While actively drinking, eating, or smoking.
When wearing a face covering causes or aggravates a health condition.
When wearing a face covering would prevent the receipt of personal services.
That mask is protecting others around you…like maybe an ER doctor that works on you if you have another heart attack?
States are REVERSING re-opening plans because of opening too quickly…this country is in the middle of the first wave, hate to see what the second wave brings.
if we had accurate data this thing would be much easier to manage, the “professionals” have different opinions and advice, some say masks don’t work and other say they do, then there is the political influences

I wear a mask frequently on the bike especially in the winter. Never considered not caring my weapon… if you carry properly no one would ever see it anyway.
I don’t get the whole dig on Fred having a heart attack or heart condition. This is maybe the third or fourth time there’s been a comment about that???

Fred is mentioned because of an underlying health condition…he suffered a heart attack, fortunately it was not a gasket blower. Another member recently disclosed here that he suffered a stroke. Folks with underlying health conditions are at risk…I know 2 people that have Covid19 now, 4 that have recovered, 2 that have died. The 2 that died had underlying health issues…
Polly, I feel better now than i did 10-15 years ago. It was an unexpected hellish wake up call. Honestly if I get this wuhan thing, then I get it. I HATE wearing a mask and don’t go near many people day to day. I personally think it is another method to measure just how much control the Government has over it’s citizens. Fine me.
Look man, if you feel good wearing a mask by all means do. My mom does. I don’t. It’s America! Damm the Torpedoes.

I’ve had a heart attack also, I will take precautions for myself and others.With the rona and swine flu ,who knows what else is going to happen.
Wearing the mask might help some of us with our looks too.
