Anybody shrimp from a pontoon? Good/bad idea?
Done it many times, the bad idea…wind can play havoc trying to run the poles sometimes, the good…we baited both sides of the poles and had 2 people throwing the net.Twice the shrimp,half the work,half the time. Go for it.

I haven’t been in 7-8 years and trying to get back in it without buying a third boat. I’ve got a 21’ pontoon that I want to strip bare and anchor down and shrimp around it. I’ve read post on this years ago but can’t seem to find anything on it now.
I want to anchor down and cast around the boat.
Sounds like a good idea.

use two anchor so the toon cant move loose your bait poles
