My 740 just gave up the ghost. Looking for 1 so I don’t have to rewire. Let me know thanks.

When that happened to me, I contacted Garmin Customer Service and was able to order a reconditioned one from them. It was about half price of what a new one would have been.

Yep Garmin has excellent customer service. I would definitely give them a call.

Thanks guys. Garmin doesn’t support this model any longer. Was hoping I wouldn’t have to repull cables, but looks like I will. Thinking of upgrading to the gpsmap 742 although 1100 dollars is a hard pill. Should’ve figured. Thanks again.
