Wading Hamlin Sound

https://youtu.be/VuSdSog1yks

Adam (Awendaw Angler) and I waded the marsh in that big tide Monday afternoon. Was a first wading the marsh for me.
We caught several fish each and one pulled the rod out of my right hand and I caught it with my left.

Adam threw a cast net for mullet and I used soft plastics.
As per usual the video is linked at the top for anyone interested.

I saw your video yesterday, great one. I was watching it at lunch when my 4 yr old daughter came up & sat on my lap & watched it with me. We had to watch a couple more after that one, she loves watching fishing videos.

Hahaha. Thanks. I try very hard to keep the language clean on the boat for that reason. I’ve got four grandkids who like to see Pepaw fishing.
And it is appreciated.

Great video...really enjoyed it. Used to live on the marsh in Seaside Farms and miss that type of fishing.

Thank you.
Cool video! I've wanted to wade or sight fish reds since I moved here. I seem to catch everything but redfish. Still trying to get dialed in. How was it walking through the pluff?

Well, I finally learned to step on the grass at the base for better footing. Or bend it over with my water shoes and use it to stand on. Eventually, I found a little bit sandier footing. It wasn’t too bad honestly.
I was the same way for the first couple of years, couldn’t catch a red to save my life. Just go to folly October/ November and surf fish and you’ll catch one.
