Wednesday July 29th.
Good day of fishing until the wind pretty much blew us off the water.
Now I understand why you guys like that top water bite! My only regret is that we didn’t get out at daybreak.
Put in a Garris Landing and started off in the ICW where a creek was flowing out. We started fishing a flat that was just loaded with bait in the mouth of that creek. The top water bite was fast and furious - until it wasn’t. They turn off pretty quick don’t they?
Made a run to Bull Island and got on another low tide redfish bite.
Fairly steady bite all day. Caught a bunch of puppies and an ugly Ribbonfish.
Anyway, the video is at the top as per usual.
