Fished a few weeks ago as well as this weekend and the Reds are a Beautiful Bronze color at this time. Tagged a few nice Reds with various species caught. Black Drums with nice size to them, Reds, Striper, Trout and Flounders. Most fish were not of any size other than the Reds and Drums but it’s nice with the comradery on the waters. Ole Timer and I are mostly on the same Creeks and exchange information of our catch. Most of the flounders are caught on a 4" swim gulp mullet but you need quite a few because trouts and blue fish tears off the tails.
The Reds in the Lower Cooper (Bushy Park) are golden and beautiful with the Drums deep in the structures and hard to get out.
