Non-fishing Help

My wife reserved an Air BnB for July in Beaufort, just down from Lady's Island Marina. I've fished around the Beaufort area before, but I would like to take my wife and daughter over to Hilton Head for lunch and just some cruise time on the boat. Can anyone give me an idea of how long it would take at a typical cruising speed (20-25mph)?

lots of places you can't go 20kts due to no wake zones and larger boat traffic on the ICW.

Roughly an hour and half joy riding and enjoying the scenery, which is awesome.

You can go the other way, east on the morgan river past Dataw Marina to Morgan Island. The locals call it Monkey Island, you can google it, but thats an awesome day trip too.



Go as early as possible. Afternoon thunderstorms can be bad. Especially if you get caught in the sound. Not a bad ride from Beaufort to Skull Creek.
